CFMOTO SPORT SIDE-BY-SIDES

The main difference is how the vehicle is designed to be used. A sport SxS is built primarily for responsive handling and recreational off-road riding, with powerful engines, performance-oriented suspension, high ground clearance and a chassis designed for dynamic driving.

A utility SxS focuses more on work, hauling and carrying equipment, with features such as a cargo box, higher payload and towing capacity.

If your priority is recreational riding, acceleration and responsive handling, a sport SxS is designed for that type of use. If you need a vehicle primarily for hauling, towing and utility work, a utility SxS may be a better fit.

Both SxS and ATVs are designed for off-road riding, but they provide a different riding experience. An ATV is ridden in a straddle position and controlled with handlebars, while a SxS has side-by-side seats, a steering wheel and foot controls, giving it a more car-like driving experience.

For two-person riding, a 2-seat SxS lets the driver and passenger sit beside each other in individual seats, with seat belts and a protective roll cage. Depending on the model, a roof and doors or side protection can also help shield occupants from rain, mud and water from puddles, making the ride more comfortable in changing trail conditions.

An ATV is generally lighter and narrower, making it more agile and easier to maneuver on tight trails. A SxS is wider and heavier, but provides a more enclosed, car-like driving experience with greater support for both driver and passenger.

For riders choosing between the two, an ATV offers compactness and agility, while a SxS offers side-by-side comfort, added protection and a more car-like driving experience.

A sport side-by-side (SxS) is designed for recreational off-road riding, trail exploration and dynamic driving across a variety of terrain. Depending on the model, it can be suited to narrow forest trails, technical terrain, open trails and faster-paced recreational riding.

Sport SxS vehicles can also be used for organized off-road events and recreational competitions, depending on the vehicle, event requirements and local regulations.

When choosing a sport SxS, consider where you ride, how you ride and who you ride with. Key factors include:

Vehicle Width and Trail Access: Consider the width of the trails you ride. A wider SxS can provide greater stability at speed, while a more compact model may be better suited to narrower trails.

Suspension and Ground Clearance: Look for suspension designed to handle rough terrain, along with sufficient ground clearance for rocks, roots and ruts. The CFMOTO ZFORCE lineup offers different suspension setups and 10 to 14 inches of ground clearance, depending on the model.

Engine Performance: Choose an engine that matches your riding style and experience. ZFORCE models offer a range of engine performance, from the Trail lineup to the high-performance Z10 and Z10-4, allowing riders to choose the level of power that suits their needs.

Seating Capacity: A 2-seat SxS provides a compact configuration for the driver and one passenger, while 4-seat models such as the ZFORCE 950 Sport-4 and Z10-4 offer room for additional passengers.

Features and Equipment: Consider the features that matter most for your riding, including tires, steering, storage, roof and doors, winch, lighting and technology. ZFORCE models come with a range of standard equipment, with premium features such as electronically adjustable FOX shocks and advanced infotainment available on the Z10 and Z10-4.

Choosing a ZFORCE model that matches your terrain, riding style, passenger needs and desired level of performance will help you find the right sport SxS for your adventures.

CFMOTO Sport SxS models come equipped with a wide range of standard off-road features and equipment, giving riders more capability without having to add essential accessories after purchase. Depending on the model, standard equipment includes a roof, half-doors, aluminum wheels, winch, electronic power steering (EPS), adjustable suspension, LED lighting, USB connectivity and CFMOTO RIDE technology. The ZFORCE Z10 and Z10-4 add premium equipment such as FOX QSE electronically adjustable shocks, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and a rear camera.

The value of the included equipment ranges from more than $5,600 to more than $12,600, depending on the model. This means many of the features riders may expect to purchase separately are already included with their ZFORCE. CFMOTO also backs every ZFORCE model with a 5-year limited warranty, including 12 months of limited manufacturer coverage and 48 months of limited powertrain coverage.

New CFMOTO side-by-side vehicles are covered by a two-part limited warranty:

• Complete limited warranty — 12 months, unlimited mileage. Covers all integral components of the vehicle and included accessories against factory defects in material or assembly.

• Powertrain limited warranty — 48 months or 5,000 km, whichever comes first, starting the day the complete warranty ends. Covers components in direct contact with motor oil and gear oil against factory defects.

A $100 deductible applies to repairs covered under the powertrain warranty. For extended coverage with no deductible, the EASY Protection Plan can also be added at the time of purchase or within 11 months of purchase.
