CFMOTO UTV's

A UTV (Utility Task Vehicle), also known as a utility side-by-side, is an off-road vehicle designed to combine passenger seating, cargo capacity and work-focused capability. Unlike an ATV, a UTV has side-by-side seating, a steering wheel and foot controls, giving the driver and passengers a more vehicle-like driving experience.

Utility UTVs are built around practical features that make everyday tasks easier. Depending on the model, these can include a tilting cargo box, towing capability, a winch, 2WD/4WD, high ground clearance and independent suspension. A cargo box makes it easier to carry tools, materials, equipment or supplies, while the towing capacity allows the vehicle to handle trailers and other loads.

The CFMOTO UFORCE lineup offers models ranging from the compact 2-seat UFORCE 600 to the 6-seat UFORCE U10 XL PRO HIGHLAND. Engine sizes range from 580cc to 998cc, giving buyers different levels of power, passenger capacity and utility capability to match how they plan to use their vehicle.

UTVs can be used for farming, forestry, landscaping, property maintenance, hunting, hauling, trail riding and outdoor recreation. Their combination of passenger seating, cargo space and utility equipment makes them well suited to jobs that require both people and equipment to move around larger properties or off-road terrain.

A utility side-by-side offers a balance of capability, comfort and versatility, making it a practical choice for both work and recreation. Unlike an ATV, which is ridden in a straddle position and controlled with handlebars, a utility side-by-side has side-by-side seating, a steering wheel and foot controls for a more car-like driving experience. It also provides more space for passengers, equipment and materials.

Compared with a sport or trail-focused SxS, a utility side-by-side is designed with practicality in mind, offering features such as a cargo box, towing capability and work-focused equipment. Depending on the model, features such as 4WD, a winch, high ground clearance and independent suspension also help it handle uneven terrain and changing conditions.

An ATV can be a good choice when compact size and maneuverability are the priority, while a sport or trail SxS may be better suited to recreational riding and performance-focused trail use. A utility side-by-side is a versatile option for those who want one vehicle that can carry passengers and equipment, handle work around the property and still be used for recreational riding.

Start with how you plan to use the vehicle, then compare the features that best match your needs:

Seating capacity: Consider how many people you regularly need to carry. UFORCE models are available in 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-seat configurations.

Cargo and towing capacity: If hauling is a priority, look at both cargo-box and towing capacity. UFORCE cargo boxes range from 550 lb to 1,000 lb, while towing capacity reaches up to 2,500 lb on U10 models.

Engine and performance: Choose an engine that matches your typical loads, terrain and performance needs. UFORCE models range from the 580cc, 36-hp UFORCE 600 to the 998cc, 88-hp U10 models.

Size and maneuverability: Consider the vehicle's overall dimensions and turning radius, particularly if you work around buildings, wooded areas or narrow trails. The UFORCE 600, for example, is 57.9 inches wide, making it well suited to tighter spaces.

Cabin and weather protection: If you plan to use your UTV year-round, consider features such as a windshield, doors, heating and air conditioning. Enclosed-cabin features are available on Highland models for added protection in changing weather conditions.

No. While UTVs are designed with work in mind, they can also be a comfortable option for recreational riding and exploring trails. Features such as independent suspension, electronic power steering (EPS), comfortable seating and available 4WD can make longer rides more enjoyable while providing the capability needed to handle changing trail conditions.

The UFORCE lineup is designed to transition between work and recreation, making it suitable for everything from getting tasks done around the property to exploring trails with family or friends.

UFORCE models come with a substantial amount of standard equipment, with the exact features varying by model. Across the lineup, standard equipment can include a roof, electronic power steering, independent suspension, a tilting cargo box, winch, trailer hitch, aluminum wheels, LED lighting and USB connectivity. Higher-spec models add equipment such as touchscreen displays, audio systems, electronic shifting and fully enclosed cabins with heating and air conditioning.

The value of included equipment also varies significantly across the lineup. Current 2027 UFORCE models offer more than $3,800 to more than $19,150 in added equipment value, depending on the model.

The UFORCE lineup is also backed by CFMOTO Canada's standard 5-year limited warranty, including 12 months of limited manufacturer coverage and 48 months of limited powertrain coverage.

New CFMOTO side-by-side vehicles are covered by a two-part limited warranty:

• Complete limited warranty — 12 months, unlimited mileage. Covers all integral components of the vehicle and included accessories against factory defects in material or assembly.

• • Powertrain limited warranty — 48 months or 5,000 km, whichever comes first, starting the day the complete warranty ends. Covers components in direct contact with motor oil and gear oil against factory defects.

A $100 deductible applies to repairs covered under the powertrain warranty. For extended coverage with no deductible, the EASY Protection Plan can also be added at the time of purchase or within 11 months of purchase.
