A cruiser motorcycle is designed around a relaxed riding position and a distinctive, often classic-inspired style. Compared with a standard motorcycle, cruisers typically have a lower seat, feet positioned farther forward and a longer, lower profile.

If you want to combine city riding with regular highway use and longer trips, a motorcycle in the 400–500 cc range can offer a good balance of manageable size and highway-capable performance. The 450CL-C sits in this versatile middle ground as a mid-size cruiser. Its 449.5 cc parallel-twin engine can handle fast traffic without straining the motor.

Larger engines can provide additional power reserves for frequent touring, reaching highway speeds easily without vibrating too much or working too hard for Long-Distance Touring.

The weight and overall size of the motorcycle also matter: a lighter motorcycle can be easier to handle in traffic and at low speeds, while a heavier bike can feel more planted on the highway but may require more effort to maneuver or move when stopped.

Every CFMOTO motorcycle is covered by a two-part limited warranty, totaling 5 years:

• Comprehensive Limited Warranty — 12 months, unlimited mileage. Covers all integral components of the motorcycle, as well as included accessories, against manufacturing defects in materials or assembly.
• Powertrain Limited Warranty — 48 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first, beginning the day after the comprehensive warranty expires. Covers components in direct contact with engine oil or gear oil against manufacturing defects.

A $100 deductible applies to repairs covered under the powertrain warranty. For extended coverage with no deductible, riders can also add the EASY Protection Plan at the time of purchase or within the following 11 months.
