District Sales Manager - CMI Agriculture (LOVOL tractors)

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the National Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager Agriculture will be responsible for managing the sales of about 50 dealers across Canada. He/she will represent CMI-Agriculture to dealers, maximize the LOVOL tractors brand (and many more to come) within the dealership with a focus on customer experience, growth and profitability.

 

HIGH PERFORMANCE TASKS

  • Build strong business relationships.
  • Develop network to provide optimal distribution of LOVOL tractors
  • Promote sales of tractors, accessories, lubricating parts and financial and maintenance programs;

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed wholesale and retail sales objectives for LOVOL Canada in assigned territory, including parts, accessories, lubricants and financial and maintenance programs;
  • Work daily with dealer/partner to influence, improve retail sales and win market share;
  • Assist, coach and support dealer sales, service, parts & accessories and F&I teams to increase dealer engagement, ultimately improving the customer experience, increasing sales, increasing dealer profitability, increasing company profitability and gaining market share.
  • Regular face-to-face visits
  • Training and knowledge of products and processes.
  • Lead showroom merchandising and accessory strategies to enhance the overall retail experience for consumers.
  • Actively communicate and work with internal CMI divisions to facilitate dealership success.
  • Analyze opportunities within assigned territory: dealer development, new opportunities, including dealer replacement.
  • Proactively contribute to key territory events and territory-specific marketing initiatives using available tools to increase wholesale and retail results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through immediate response to dealer inquiries.
  • Ensure company standards and policies are adhered to with integrity, honesty, and respect.
  • Effectively manage the district travel budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

PROFILE AND REQUIRED QUALITIES

  • 10-15 years’ experience in the agriculture/tractor industry
  • Inspiring, results-oriented leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with strong networking skills to be attentive to customer signals in order to seize opportunities and guide the sales team.
  • Ability to multi-task.
